Can I pay for my rental in cash?
No, Easirent DO NOT accept cash at any branch.
Do you accept Debit Cards?
We accept debit cards, but some restriction applies. Please see our Rental Terms at us.easirent.com/rental-terms for more information.
What credit card can I use?
We accept all major credit cards as VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We DO NOT accept Electronic Cards, Checks, Cash, Prepaid Cards or Gift Cards as method of payment.
Can I pay in advance?
Using our Easirent website www.easirent.com, you can pay in advance selecting Pay Now at the time of booking. Other providers also offer the option to prepaid their reservation. Keep in mind the credit card must be presented at the time of rental.
Can I use another person’s credit card to rent a vehicle?
No, at the time of rental you would have to meet all qualifications. The name, address, driver’s license and major credit card must match the name on the rental agreement.
Is there a Deposit payable?
A standard $250 deposit is required in a major credit card. For deposits using debit cards, please see our Deposits section at https://us.easirent.com/rental-terms/
When I will get my deposit back?
The deposit is refundable or released after the end of the rental agreement. Usually takes between 3 to 5 business day to be reflected by your bank institution.
What documents will I need to bring?
The primary piece of identification required to rent a vehicle with Easirent is a valid driver’s license. For International customers or using a non-US driver license must provide a secondary form of ID as a valid Passport, Government-issued ID card or International License. Other documents may be required as proof of insurance. Please see our Rental Terms at us.easirent.com/rental-terms for more information.
Do I get Unlimited Mileage?
We offer unlimited mileage to our rentals. (For Local Renters restrictions, please review our Rental Terms at https://us.easirent.com/rental-terms/).
What is a Local Renter?
A renter with a driver’s license issued in the same state as the rental pick up location. The renter also cannot demonstrate that they have flown into an airport near the location where they wish to rent, and that they have a return flight.
How Do I Cancel My Booking?
If your reservation was confirmed directly with Easirent through the Easirent web page at www.easirent.com, please use our “Manage My Booking” page www.easirent.com/manage to cancel your reservation. Easirent not charge a cancellation fee on Pay Later reservations, but does request a cancellation notice as soon as your travel plans have changed. You can cancel your Easirent booking up to 30 mins before the scheduled collection time. If you fail to tell us of your cancellation prior to the scheduled collection time or not arrive to collect your reserved rental car, we will charge you up to 3 days rental as a No Show Fee.
If your reservation was confirmed through another provider (booking site, outside source, etc.), please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. Cancellation of a reservation directly through Easirent, when confirmed through another provider, may not relieve your responsibility with that provider. In order to avoid charges (cancellation fee or penalty), check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with them.
How I extend my rental?
To request an extension of the rental, you can use our Manage My Booking section on our website at www.easirent.com/manage/. The extra day rate may vary according to fleet availability and season. If the rental is overdue or/with pending balance, extensions are not allowed on our website. If you are using a Third Party Insurance or the website is not allowing your extension for any other reason, please communicate directly to the originated branch or Customer Services at (888) 901-5121. Otherwise, renter must return the vehicle to the branch immediately to avoid Late Return Fees or other relates charges.
Is there a minimum age to rent a car?
To rent a car with Easirent, the minimum age required for any driver is 21 years old. Renters and additional drivers under the age of 25 are subject to a surcharge fee.
I am arriving at an Airport how do I collect my vehicle?
We offer a complimentary shuttle service on our branches from the Airport to our facilities. Please review the pickup procedure contained on your rental confirmation or visit us.easirent.com/hire-locations for more details. If you have any queries whatsoever please contact us on 888-901-5121.
What if I’m going to be late?
If you know you may miss the start of your rental, please contact the branch as soon as possible to let them know. If you can’t get through please call our support team on 888-901-5121. We can only hold a car for you for a limited amount of time, especially during busy periods.
If you are due to be late returning your rental vehicle please call the branch as soon as convenient to give them a realistic time of your return. We have a grace period of 59 minutes before you will be charged a late fee unless communication has been made to the branch.
How do I receive my booking confirmation?
You will be sent an email shortly after making your reservation to the email address supplied when your booking was made. If you do not receive your confirmation within 48 hours of making your reservation please contact email@example.com.
Can I take the vehicle out of the State?
Vehicles are restricted to the state of Florida. Please see the Geographic Limitation policy on our Rental Terms at us.easirent.com/rental-terms for more information.
Will I need to purchase a Toll Service?
You are responsible for the payment of any and all tolls incurred during the rental period. However, for your convenience, we offer Easi-Express, an optional electronic toll payment service whereby all toll charges and any other toll-related fees you incur are covered during the rental period. Easi-Express allows for quick by-pass of unmanned and manned toll booths; you’ll cruise right through traffic. Easi-Express must be accepted at the time of pickup and be applied for the entire length of the rental. Easi-Express Sunpass service covers tolls incurred in Florida only. The current rates applicable to the Easi-Express service are from USD/9.99 to USD/12.99 per rental day depending on location. Customers with Sunpass Portable transponders may use their transponders in our rental vehicles at their own risk, as Sunpass does not acknowledge some devices, and in these cases customers might be responsible for charges incurred. Easirent always recommends the Easi-Express pass when possible. Sunpass peel and stick products will not function in Easirent vehicles. Can I add additional drivers?
Yes, more than one person can drive the rental vehicle; the additional driver needs to be present when collecting the vehicle to be added on the agreement as an authorized driver. All subsequent extra drivers must also adhere to our general policy and must be at least 21 years of age.
Can I reserve a specific make or model of vehicle?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific make or model of vehicle. The featured vehicles that are displayed for each car class on the Easirent website or partner booking sites are only representations of the type of vehicle that may be available at the time of pick up. However, we can guarantee you the rate you reserved. If we don’t have the car class available you reserved, we can upgrade you to the next car class.
How can I view or modify my reservation?
You can go to our www.easirent.com home page, click on “Manage my Booking”, and login using your reservation reference number and last name to View, Modify or Cancel.
What is a No-Show Fee?
A ‘No-show’ is when you didn’t change or cancel your reservation before your rental is due to start, or fail to pick the car up at the arranged time and date, or fail to provide the documentation that’s required to pick the car up, or fail to provide a credit card in the main driver’s name with enough available funds on it. In all of these cases, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.
